Himal Hemp is a sustainable design and trading company that offers handcrafted products made from hemp, recycled materials and, through the Himal Hemp publishing house, also environmentally friendly printed materials.
What does Himal Hemp stand for?
We stand for ecological sustainability, fair cooperation, social responsibility and transparent production processes.
Is Himal Hemp a shop or a social project?
Himal Hemp is both: an online shop and a social project that supports artists and local communities.

What materials are your products made of?
Our products consist mainly of wild hemp, recycled saris, natural fibers and environmentally friendly printing materials.
What is wild hemp?
Wild hemp grows without artificial irrigation or pesticides and is particularly resource-efficient.
Are your products vegan?
Yes, with very few exceptions, all our products are vegan and contain no animal ingredients.
Are your products sustainable?
Yes. We pay attention to durable materials, fair production, and the lowest possible environmental impact.
Why do you use recycled saris?
Recycled saris give existing materials a new life and reduce textile waste. It's hard to believe, but textile waste contributes to some of the biggest environmental and social problems of our time – worldwide!

How do I care for hemp products? How do I care for products made from recycled saris?
Hemp products and products made from recycled sari should be washed gently and air-dried.
Can I wash hemp products and Recycle Sari products?
Yes, ideally at a low temperature and without harsh detergents.
Do hemp products change over time?
Yes, hemp softens over time and develops a unique patina.

What does environmentally friendly printing mean?
We use environmentally friendly inks, recycled paper and resource-saving printing processes.
Where are your printed products manufactured?
Our printed materials are produced regionally and under fair conditions.
Are your books limited editions?
We produce books in limited editions. If there is sufficient demand, we will endeavor to produce new editions.
🔁 Returns & Complaints
Can I return my order?
Yes, you can return products within two weeks of delivery. However, we greatly appreciate careful product selection before purchase to counteract the excessive transport volume caused by irresponsible, excessive online shopping. Especially with clothing that is printed on demand, we ask for very conscious selection to avoid returns.
What do I do if the product is defective?

📦 Ordering & Shipping
Which countries do you deliver to?
We deliver to all European countries. The shortest transport routes are to Austria and its neighboring countries.
How long does shipping take?
Delivery usually takes 3-7 working days.
Is it packaged without plastic?
Yes, we use plastic-free packaging.
Is delivery free?
Delivery is free if one of the following conditions is met:
- From 5 copies onwards, FLINS AWAY! (equivalent to €20,-) or
- from an order value of €38.50 (for other goods).
Free shipping applies exclusively to Germany and Austria .
💳 Payment
Which payment methods can I use?
You can pay securely and conveniently with us using credit card, eps bank transfer, PayPal, Klarna, Google Pay and Shop Pay.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, you can of course pay by credit card, and it's very easy.
Is PayPal available?
Yes, you can pay quickly and easily with PayPal.
Can I pay with Klarna (e.g., immediately or by invoice)?
Yes, Klarna is available at checkout. You will see all available options there.
Do Apple Pay and Google Pay work?
Yes, our online shop supports Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Will I receive a confirmation or an invoice?
After placing your order, you will automatically receive an order and payment confirmation via email.
What do I do if my payment fails?
Please check the information you entered or choose a different payment method. If you continue to experience problems, please contact our customer service – we're happy to help.

How does Himal Hemp support social projects?
We collaborate with local initiatives, such as heidenspass in Graz, and promote fair working conditions in poverty-stricken Nepal.
What does upcycling mean at Himal Hemp?
Upcycling means reusing existing materials in a creative and meaningful way.
How do you implement gender equality?
We consciously collaborate with diverse artists and partners. In our books, we ensure gender-neutral language and illustrations. Furthermore, we develop special products that contribute directly and indirectly to raising awareness.
