feelings

Talk to your child about feelings.

If possible, incorporate this into a regular family ritual, for example, the family dinner.
Here, each family member can report on their day, sharing what was good and what wasn't so great, and how they felt.

Children who have learned to name their feelings and are allowed to do so develop a better understanding of them.
Based on their own feelings, they can assess how a situation will develop more quickly.

Rituals in a safe environment strengthen your child's confidence in being able to address problems, feelings and experiences.
