Sustainability & Responsibility:

 

This product is handcrafted in a small family workshop in Nepal under fair working conditions. It combines traditional craftsmanship with environmentally friendly materials.

While organic certification is currently not possible for small businesses in Nepal , we are doing everything we can to continuously improve our materials and manufacturing processes. We also promote the reuse of recycled materials, such as traditional saris, in our product range.

Sustainability, fairness and quality

 

+++ Raw materials from organic farming +++ 

For this product, we use wild-grown hemp that requires neither herbicides nor pesticides . The fields remain untouched and are not cultivated, thus protecting the environment. The hemp is harvested by small-scale farmers in Nepal and India and processed on traditional mechanical looms – an ecological and sustainable production process.

 This product is manufactured in Suraj Asfahal's family workshop in Nepal. The young entrepreneur started with two sewing machines and now employs a small team. His respectful treatment of his employees, his expertise, and his high quality standards are reflected in every product. These values ​​are appreciated by both his team and us.

 

+++ Resource-efficient +++

 Hemp is an extremely low-water plant to cultivate and requires far less water than cotton – a natural choice for environmentally conscious products.

 

+++ Reduced-emission production +++

 We largely avoid using chemicals in the cultivation and processing of hemp. Because the hemp is not processed into viscose (a chemical process to obtain cotton-like fibers), but simply spun and woven, production remains low in pollutants and sustainable.

 This product contains no animal ingredients and is therefore 100% vegan.

 

+++ Recycled & Recyclable +++

 The materials consist of 100% natural raw materials such as hemp and cotton. This makes the product biodegradable. Alternatively, recycled cellulose fibers can be used for new purposes such as insulation, soundproofing material, or industrial cleaning rags. Disposal via used clothing collection supports recycling.
